26 Jul 2018

Eco Structures Australia

Just thirty minutes off the coast of Fremantle and an hour from Perth CBD, Discovery Eco-Village - Rottnest Island is your launch pad to explore one of Western Australia’s top island escapes. The retreat features 83 stylish eco-tents nestled in the dunes just behind Pinky Beach, with ensuite pods, a swimming pool, an alfresco bar, and licensed dining areas. Located close to the main township and jetty at Thomson Bay, guests can sleep (almost) under the stars. Once on ‘Rotto’ (as the locals call it), brace yourself for a nature lover’s paradise. You can say G’DAY to the diverse wildlife, including humpback whales in winter and spring, quokkas, crayfish for catching, New Zealand fur seals, tropical fish and green turtles. If a selfie with a quokka wasn’t enough for you to hop on over here already, the white sandy beaches and secluded bays certainly will be. Want to dive in deeper? The shallow waters at The Basin are a clear, dazzling blue - ideal for snorkelling. Surfers can hang ten at Strickland Bay, home to some of the best waves in the world, some say. If you’re more of a history buff, take the Oliver Hill train ride to visit remnants of World War II, including a maze of underground tunnels.
