Stay at one of our newest holiday parks in Coolwaters, Yeppoon and explore this little secret stretch of Queensland’s coast where adventure and relaxation meet.

With Discovery Parks’ purchase of the Coolwaters, Yeppoon holiday park in late 2017, it’s the perfect time to visit this little secret stretch of Queensland’s coast. Brilliant blues and lush greens will have you hooked in this little pocket of seaside sunshine.

The town marks the beginning of the Capricorn Coast and is home to the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. For families, the Keppel Kraken water park is a must. It is a simple, interactive space for kids and parents to enjoy. You can’t miss the giant serpent-like sculpture that twists and turns through the space.

With picnic tables to the side of the park, you can watch the kids from the sidelines as they get wet (and you don’t) or get amongst the action and soaked by the cannons and jets. Appleton Park is another must-visit with the kids, as well as Yeppoon skate park for your wheel-equipped little ones. For the big kids, there are feasts to be had around every corner in Yeppoon.

The town is bursting with cafés and restaurants to eat your way through. For sweet tooths, Flour Café specialises in cakes of all shapes and sizes, while Whisk has your doughnut cravings sorted. They also offer breakfast, lunch and tapas, as well as cocktails from 10am (yes please!). Try Lure Living if you’re in need of a bit of relaxation on the side of your brekky – they offer yoga classes to live music at their café, with special classes just for kids, too. And if you visit in October, don’t miss Pinefest, the town’s very own pineapple festival.

Book your stay at Discovery Holiday Parks – Coolwaters Yeppoon and begin your adventure.
