There are very few wine lovers who have not sampled a drop from the Barossa Valley. Australia's best-known wine region and South Australia's most visited tourist destination is also the home of Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley. Just a few minutes from the centre of Tanunda, the park is a great place to begin your tour. Explore the vine-covered plains and hills that surround charming townships and Lutheran churches, with their distinctive square spires dotting the rural landscape.

Stay in one of our new two-person Deluxe Safari Tents, set in a private area of the park with exclusive access to an outdoor lounge, BBQ space, firepit, heated swimming pool and spa. A first-class glamping experience, the eco-luxe tents are set among native gum trees with vineyard views as far as the eye can see. The tents feature hotel-standard ensuite bathrooms and a private deck, and can be configured with either a king or two twin beds. You can even book the entire 12-tent section of the park for special events; think hens weekends and special birthdays. Or, with no kids allowed, it’s the perfect excuse for a romantic getaway for two.

A family adventure instead? The family section of the park is made for making life-long holiday memories. Kids can enjoy our splashtacular waterpark (one of the largest in our network), complete with three slides, gigantic tipping bucket and more splash zones than we can count. And you can take your pick from newly launched cabins to shady powered sites.

With so many wineries, historic buildings, museums, scenic tours, bush walks, art galleries, amazing dining experiences and fantastic park facilities, you won’t want to waste a moment.
