Discovery Parks, Australia’s largest owner and operator of holiday parks, is thrilled to announce that an exciting new development has been installed in one of its signature parks in Barossa Valley, South Australia.
Launched in December 2016, Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley was the first family waterpark in the region and is one of the biggest caravan park waterparks in Australia at 500sqm in size. It has been widely well-received by locals and travellers alike since its inception. To continue this success, Discovery Parks is in the process of completing a resort style swimming pool to complement the waterpark and family friendly facilities.

“Our waterpark provides a unique family holiday destination in the heart of the Barossa. Boasting 3 slides, huge tipping bucket, water cannons and more spray zones than we can count. With the addition of our new resort style pool, we hope it will give families another reason to visit our park this summer and explore the Barossa Valley,”, Park Manager of Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley, Jacky Jones said.
This development is part of Discovery Parks’ $14 million investment across six properties in the lead up to summer. It follows a recent announcement from the business around its new structure and focus on further investing in its people, place and process. This is all part of a strategic plan to support the business for scalable growth to 2020 and beyond.

Discovery Parks - Barossa Valley will continue to operate as usual with the resort-style swimming pool now launched.
